The Jonesborough Days Parade will kick off Jonesborough Days on Thursday, July 4 at 10 a.m. It is set to go through Boone and Main Streets in downtown Jonesborough. The Jonesborough Days Festival Committee is seeking floats and entries decked out in red, white and blue.

The cost for registration is $25 for regular entries and $50 for political and commercial entries. Interested parties are welcome to apply HERE

The 2024 Jonesborough Days Festival takes place July 4 through July 6. This event includes family activities, live music, handmade local crafts, a patriotic parade and fireworks. Admission to the festival is free and open to the public.

The Jonesborough Board of Mayor and Aldermen will meet in a Work Session for discussion of the strategies and operations of the Jackson Theatre, on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 8:00 a.m.  The meeting will take place at the International Storytelling Center, 100 West Main Street, Jonesborough, TN.  

In observance of the Juneteenth Holiday, Jonesborough’s Town Hall will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Normal business hours will resume on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

8 TEAM MAXIMUM LEAGUE: First 8 teams with a completed packet will get the spots.

COMPLETED PACKETS WILL INCLUDE –

• A completed registration form
• $250.00 Registration Fee
• COMPLETED and SIGNED Roster of Players
• A copy of EVERYONE’S License &/or Official ID
• A release/use of town property waiver signed by each person on your roster.

Teams must have 9 players to begin a game. Males and females must be alternated in the batting order. You must have a minimum of 3 female players to play any game.  To help better fill teams, we are allowing teams to play with 7 male and 3 female players. Team can have more than 3 females, but 3 females must be in the batting order and always play in the field.

League play will begin Monday, July 1^st, 2024. Games will be played at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm. The league will consist of 7 weeks of regular play and 1 week of single elimination play. The tournament will take place the week of August 19^th. Games will be played on Monday, Tuesdays, and Thursdays except for July 4^th.

Registration will close on Monday, June 24^th at 5 pm and the schedule will be posted on Tuesday, June 25^th

Utility work will begin on Tuesday 5/28 on the sidewalk from 117 – 125 W. Main Street, on the south side of Main Street.  Pedestrians are urged to use the sidewalk on the north side of W.
