Jonesborough Water Department Letter of Thanks

The devastation that has occurred has not only reminded us how blessed we are, but how great of a community we serve. It has continued to bring out the best in people and show why we are the Volunteer State. Our community has gone above and beyond to not only help those in need during this trying time, but to also help take care of our utility staff, first responders and fellow volunteers. Whether it be a hot meal, supplies or even just a kind word. That is why we at the Jonesborough Water Department would like to thank not only our great community, but the gracious and wonderful people who brought us hot meals, snacks, drinks, or just checked to see if we needed anything or even volunteered to help. Simple things like conserving water, understanding and patience helped to get water restored in a timely manner. We at Jonesborough Water Quality, Water Distribution, Waste/Water, and Water Treatment Plant would like to give special thanks to the people who provided those working around the clock with meals.
