Downtown Tree Work Scheduled for Monday, July 21

The Parks and Recreation Department will begin maintenance on several trees throughout the downtown area starting Monday, July 21st. To ensure safety and efficiency, traffic and parking in certain areas will be impacted. “No Parking” Signs will be placed in work areas. The highlighted areas on the map below indicate where parking will be restricted. North Cherokee Street will be closed for a short period, but access will be made available for emergency vehicles if necessary. The work is expected to be completed in one day.
