Good news! The temporary traffic signal at the intersection of 11-E and Tiger Way (area of Wendy’s) is set to be replaced with a permanent one in Fall 2025. The project is funded through the Federal Highway Administration and the State of Tennessee, and will provide safer, more reliable travel for drivers. We will continue to update you as we get closer to the start of construction.

In other traffic news, the Town’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen recognizes the traffic and congestion issues along our 11-E corridor. To address those issues, the Board recently approved a contract with Mattern & Craig Engineers to complete a corridor traffic signal study that will help us improve safety, optimize traffic flow, reduce congestion, and promote efficiency in our daily commutes.
