Pipp Gillette lives and works on the family ranch near Lovelady, Texas, where his grandfather started raising cattle and cotton in 1912. He also operates the Camp Street Cafe & Store, an acoustic roots music venue. In addition to “working cowboy”, Pipp is an award-winning singer, cowboy poet, and chuckwagon aficionado. Drawing on a lifelong interest in Western history and music, Pipp plays traditional cowboy music on guitar, banjo, harmonica, and bones. His first solo project, Singing Songs by Waddie and Pipp, received the Western Heritage Award for Outstanding Traditional Western Album of 2016.

Historic Jonesborough Town Tours return on Saturdays starting onSaturday, March 16. Town Tours are available every Saturday at 1 p.m. Ticketsare $6. The tour leaves from the Chester Inn and costumed guides share thehistory of Tennessee’s Oldest Town and the people who called it home.

Having learned the Drut’syla (storyteller) tradition from the age of four, she carries thousands of oral stories from the Jewish tradition and shares their magic, mystery, and wisdom with audiences around the world.
