The annual spring town-wide yard sale will be held on Saturday, May 17, 9am-3pm. Downtown businesses will be offering specials inside their shops and on the sidewalks. Non-business owners will be setting up in front of the court house and along Boone Street. After and in between shopping, take a mouth-watering break in any of our one-of-a-kind downtown restaurants.
If you are interested in participating in the sale, 10'x10' spaces may be reserved for $10 each by calling Jeff Gurley at The Lollipop Shop, 423-913-2663. Spaces are limited.
Proceeds from the booth fees will benefit less fortunate children at Christmas. Each year the downtown merchants sponsor Old St. Nick Nights to collect gifts for needy children. Last year over 250 gifts were collected and distributed to children in the Washington County school system who may not have gotten gifts otherwise.
